Congratulations to Dr. Peter Nickerson (internal medicine and immunology). On May 8, 2014 he was inducted into the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (CAHS)
Dr. Nickerson is a leader in transplantation science. He and his colleagues have been at the forefront in identifying subclinical inflammation as a cause of organ rejection, particularly relating to the kidneys.
I tried a couple different backgrounds for his business portrait. As typically a business portrait is more neutral. I believe the background is just as important as the subject.
It was refreshing to photograph Dr. Nickerson, and I loved the bow ties!
