Back in June I photographed a 40th wedding anniversary for Eddie Calisto-Tavares and Gill Tavares. They had a beautiful celebration in their back yard. I must say it was extremely hot and very windy, but we made the best of it.

I met Eddie years ago though Women Business Owners of Manitoba. Eddie owns and operates Options 4 Success. Eddie wanted a jpeg file for facebook, and uploaded it to her title page. As you can see it just didn’t fit and looked horrible. Facebook title pages are horizontal….very horizontal. When I saw how Eddie’s family portrait was displayed I was disappointed. I took it upon myself to create something a little special so her family heads weren’t cut off. On the new title page the negative space on the far left is required for the profile photo and name. I think it’s a great way of showing special events.
