Historic Buildings for Weddings

The Millennium Centre in Winnipeg was a former Bank of Commerce building and was built in 1910-1912. The landmark heritage building is filled with beautiful character with defining elements throughout. A national historic site since 1997 its perfect for a wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couples wedding on 8-17-2024. It was a breath taking event my wide angle lens barely took in.

The couple chose to sign the paperwork in the Tapestry room, just off to the side behind closed doors. The setting is perfect for classic, timeless portraiture.

The couple choose to use another Manitoba Historical Site. The St. Boniface Cathedral was the backdrop for their historic portraits.

Back to the Millennium Centre, for a very modern grand entrance for the reception!

I’d highly recommend both historic venues for your wedding. If you’re looking for classic, timeless Wedding images with a little bit of fun give me a call!
